Darby’s Gutters & Roofs · Last updated September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Darby’s Gutters & Roofs (trading name of Flèche & Sons Ltd, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We are the data controller for the information described below.
When you use the quote/contact form on this site, we collect whatever you choose to provide: your name, phone number, address (optional), a description of the work you need, your maintenance reminder preference if you select one, and any photos you choose to upload. We only collect what’s needed to give you an accurate quote and get in touch about it.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, arrange and carry out any work you book with us, and to keep basic records of the job for guarantee and quality purposes. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
If you select a maintenance reminder preference, we’ll use it to get back in touch around that interval (e.g. every 6 months, annually, or every 2 years) to ask if you’d like the work booked in again. You can ask us to stop these reminders at any time.
With your separate permission, we may use before/after photographs of completed work in our marketing (e.g. on this website or social media), which is covered in our Terms & Conditions. Any images identifying your property specifically will be anonymised on request.
This site is hosted on Netlify, and our contact form is processed using Netlify’s built-in form-handling service. When you submit the form, your details pass through Netlify’s systems on their way to us. They act as a data processor on our behalf and do not use your information for their own purposes. You can read Netlify’s own privacy policy on their website for more detail on how they handle this.
We use Google Tag Manager to run analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or Google Ads conversion tracking), which helps us understand how people find this site and whether our advertising is working. These are not loaded until you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
We also use CallRail, a call tracking service, which shows different phone numbers to different visitors so we can see which adverts lead to calls. If you ring one of those numbers, CallRail processes your phone number and the time and length of the call, and passes the call through to us. This is covered by our legitimate interest in understanding which advertising works. See our Cookie Policy for full detail on what's used and how to change your preference at any time.
We keep enquiry and job information for as long as reasonably needed, typically for the duration of any guarantee period plus a reasonable time afterwards for our records, or as required by law (e.g. for tax purposes). If you contact us but don’t go on to book any work, we’ll only keep your details for a limited time before deleting them.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it’s wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to object to how we’re using it. To do any of this, just get in touch using the details below.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
