This policy explains what cookies this website uses, why, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal data more generally.
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. They’re used to remember things about your visit, like whether you’ve seen this notice before, or to help site owners understand how their site is being used.
This site does not use any cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function - the site and contact forms work correctly without any cookies at all.
We use Google Tag Manager, which allows us to run analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or Google Ads conversion tracking) to understand how people find this site and whether our advertising is working. These are not essential to the site working, and they are not loaded until you accept them.
We also use CallRail, a call tracking service. It shows a different phone number to different visitors so we can tell which adverts and search terms lead to calls. It sets a cookie to remember which number you were shown, so that the same number appears if you come back. Calls to those numbers connect to us in the normal way. CallRail loads when you arrive at the site rather than waiting for your choice, because the number has to be correct before you read it.
When you first visit this site, you’ll see a short banner asking whether you’re happy for us to use analytics and advertising cookies. None of those load until you choose Accept, or turn them on via Settings and save your preference. The exception is the call tracking cookie described above, which is set on arrival. If you reject them, none of these tools will run, and your choice is remembered so you won’t be asked again on this device.
You can change your cookie preference at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of this site, or by clearing your browser’s cookies for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
Where you’ve accepted analytics and advertising cookies, some of these are set by third parties, mainly Google and CallRail, rather than by us directly.
